Famous cellist and conductor Felix Korobov will hold master classes for the Foundation's scholars on October 20.
Within the framework of the Music for Future Classical Music Academy, famous cellist and conductor Felix Korobov will hold master classes for the scholarship holders of the Foundation on October 20 (wednesday), from 11AM to 2PM. The master classes will take place at 412 Concert Hall, at Tchaikovsky Specialized Secondary Music School. The event is supported by the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC). Master classes are open to students of musical institutions. Those applicants who didn't pass the scholarship competition can also be present at master classes as passive listeners. Entrance to master classes is allowed only in masks. --- He often tours both as conductor and cellist. He has worked with symphony orchestras in Russia, Germany, Finland, Italy, the Philippines etc. He is a Principal Guest Conductor at the Saint-Petersburg Camerata orchestra of the State Hermitage Museum headed by S.Sondeckis. Besides, he is Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Chamber orchestra at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. Since October 2017 Mr. Korobov has started the cooperation with Teatro alla Scala․
